MENA Financial Inc. (“MENAFin”), based in London, regroups financial experts and IT Web and database specialists under one roof to provide:
- The management and the provision of several Web sites relating to the flow of financial information in the Middle East and North Africa; and their international trading partners. You are currently on one of these Web sites.
- Support, including business plans, sales and marketing, distribution and day-to-day management to IT businesses based in the Middle East and North Africa and aiming to access the major international markets, and in particular the European markets.
- Internet services, including hosting, concept, design and implementation of complex Web sites requiring either sophisticated database management and/or use of our expertise in several fields, including option modeling, statistical analysis, genetic algorithms and logic - fuzzy or otherwise. As an example, we acted as concept and technical adviser, as well as Web Hosting provider to GENESIS, a game launched to promote an upcoming movie by a British Film producer.
At the core of our operations, MENAFin promotes the development of capital markets in the Middle East and North African region by aggregating all the relevant available information, including, but not limited to, country and sector economic notes, analyses from brokers, calendar of events and conferences, strategic research, rules and regulations, company data and real-time prices; and displaying it on its Web sites.
We are active in several countries and use our own as well as independent financial experts to provide portfolio modelling, research, benchmarks and data validition.
These experts are supported by our team of IT specialists working in association with In21 Limited - a specialised team of financial IT consultants - who manages and maintain the complex databases and algorithms required to analyse emerging and developed financial markets. Running such a complex operation accross over 16 countries gives us an edge in providing our other core services to our clients, including introducing Middle East IT companies to the Western markets - as we are based in London - as well as using our resources to develop complex solutions using extensive database and logic work.
MENAFin History
MENAFin was launched in 2000 to provide financial information on countries within the Middle East North Africa region via the Internet. The founder members of MENA Financial Inc. started the Company as they believe that the lack of readily available information on Middle East and North African financial markets is hindering cross-border flows within the region and inward investment; and that the Internet is a natural tool of distribution of information. Since then, MENAFin has grown into a provider of several services, using its core of specialists in finance and IT. Other services, such as graphics design, are outsourced to our partners.
The three founder members have over fifty years of financial and IT experience in the United Kingdom and in the North Africa and Middle East region. They have participated in the development of regional capital markets and the deployment of the required trading, clearing and settlement architecture for over eight years.
